The center of the ellipse is (6,4).

The x-axis is the major axis because it has the larger denominator.

The 36 is 6 so you have to move 6 units right and left from the center, (6+6,4) and (66,4) for the points (12,4) and (0,4).

The y-axis is the minor axis.

The 16 is 4 so you have to move 4 units up and down from the center, (6,44) and (6,44)for the points (6,0) and (6,8).
