Balanced Equation:

"2KNO"_3 + "10Na" rarr "K"_2"O" + "5Na"_2"O" + "N"_2"

Mole ratio of "KNO"_3" to "Na" = "2 moles KNO3"/"10 moles Na". Your teacher may want you to reduce this to 1/5.

This is a redox (oxidation-reduction) reaction. The Na was oxidized from 0 in Na to +1 in "Na"_2"O", and the N was reduced from +5 in "KNO"_3" to 0 in "N"_2. The oxidation numbers of the other elements did not change.
