Well I am not sure it'll be clear but I try.
Your function is periodic, repeating itself at regular intervals (of time).
Frequency tells you how many complete "repetitions" you have in 1 second. Now if you want the TIME it takes for one repetition only, the period T, you take 1 second and divide by the number of repetitions.
In your case the function in one second makes 50 complete oscillations (it is very fast!!!).
If you divide 1 second by 50 you'll find that one oscillation takes 0.02 seconds to complete.
