then you distribute the other side to get

then set up your inequality again to get

now solve for the x
add the 6 and 9 on the left side to equal 15-3x
this comes out to
15-3x<6x-24
add the 24 to the 15 and add the 3x to the 6x to get
39/9<x
which reduces to
13/3<x
