Cell Division.

Explanation:

In order for a multi-cellular organism, such as a human to grow, cell division is extremely important. For instance, when the female egg is fertilized by the males sperm cell it is then called a zygote. Then those two cells become four, and those four become eight and so on until they form a fully grown adult. And still, cells will continue to multiply to replace those that are destroyed or too old.
