If q1 and q2 are charges and r is the distance between them then the force F between them is given by

F=kq1q2r2

Where k is a constant and is known as Coulomb's force constant

Here Let q1=24C, q2=32C and r=12m,

F=k2432122

F=768k144=

F=5.33kN

Since the force is positive so the force between the charges is repullsive
