$\frac{x}{x - 2} - \frac{2}{x - 2} = - 2$ $x/(x-2)-2/(x-2)=-2$

$\frac{x - 2}{x - 2} = - 2$ $(x-2)/(x-2)=-2$

$1 = 2$ $1=2$

Let's take other way:

$\frac{x}{x - 2} - \frac{2}{x - 2} = - 2$ $x/(x-2)-2/(x-2)=-2$

Multiplying everithing by (x-2) , but taking in acount that #x!=2):

$x - 2 = 2 (x - 2)$ $x-2=2(x-2)$

$x - 2 = 2 x - 4)$ $x-2=2x-4)$

$- x = - 2$ $-x=-2$

$x = 2$ $x=2$ , which is not valid, beacuse when we multiplied by x-2 excluded 2 as solution.
