The matrix doesn't have an inverse function.

First thing to do is to take the determinant to check its inversibility, if

$|A| != 0$ , the matrix is invertible, so we want to see if

$|(-3,6),(2,-4)| != 0$

Using the determinant formula for a $2x2$ matrix we get

$|A| = (-3)(-4)-6*2=12-12=0$

So the matrix does not have an inverse function.
