(2x-3)(x-2)=-12x+18

Expand using the foil method.

2x^2-4x-3x+6=-12x+18

2x^2-7x+6=-12x+18

Add 12x and subtract 18 on both sides...

2x^2-7x+6+12x-18=0

2x^2+5x-12=0

Factorise...

(2x-3)(x+4)=0

When x=3/2 and x=-4, what you get is 0.

Therefore, the answers are:

x=3/2

x=-4
