Explanation:

Take the atomic weight of the element and multiply it by the number of atoms of each element.
Sodium = 22.98976928 =23
Nitrogen= 14.0067=14
Oxygen=15.9994=16

There is one sodium atom so the atomic weight would stay the same 23
There is one nitrogen atom so the atomic weight would stay the same 14
However there is three oxygen atoms so you would triple its atomic weight. 16 x 3= 48

Then you would add these weights together 23+14+48 and you would get 85g/mol or 84.9947 g/mol if you did not round the original atomic weights
