The Kommandos (literally meaning, Command or Unit), were the ones responsible for organizing the people at the concentration camps. Especially notable are the Sonderkommandos, the ones that helped carry out things like "The Final Solution" (when they began mass incinerating them). There were Kommandos of every type, as Dr. Miklós Nyiszli states that "there were tooth-pulling commando" "fine stomatologists and dental surgeons" equipped "in one hand with a lever, and in the other a pair of pliers for extracting teeth".
