A Bisexual flower can be defined as a flower that has both male and female sex organs.
Explanation:
- Though a flower is bisexual, the male and female gametes are produced from two different sex organs.
- Male gametes are produced from Androecium which includes anthers. The pollen mother cells in the anthers produce the male gametes called Pollen grains.
- Female gametes are produced from Gynoecium which includes Ovary, Style and Stigma. The ovary has ovules which houses the female gametes.
