Temperature, rainfall, and geological features would be the major abiotic factors that would determine plant distribution.
Explanation:
All plant life is dependent on abiotic factors. Water would be the most crucial factor and so would be sunlight in determining distribution.That is the reason why we have different kinds of vegetation in different parts of the world. Small thorny plants in deserts,huge trees and creepers in the tropics,soft bodies byount plants in water bodies.
Agriculture is possibly the single biggest human intervention that provides abiotic requirements to help grow plants in environments that normally would not support them.
