Bee moves along the circumference of the bowl.

Circumference#=2pir#
#=2xx22/7xx7=44cm#
Speed #=11cm cdot s^-1#

Distance moved in #4s="Speed"xx"Time"#
#=11xx4=44cm#

We see that in #4s# bee has completed one full circle of the rim of the bowl. It has returned to initial position.
#=># Displacement #=0#

The thing to take away from this problem is that distance is a scalar, a quantity that has only magnitude. Displacement, on the other hand, is a vector, a quantity that has both magnitude and direction.

As was mentioned, since the bee ended up where it started, it's displacement is zero.
