The only thing that is wrong here is the transport of hormones.
Explanation:
In order for most hormones to reach and interact with their target, they are transported by the cardiovascular system (via blood).
Since many (steroid) hormones are lipid-soluble, the lymphatic system might seem a good way of transport. The body however found a more efficient way to transport hormones: by binding them to proteins in the blood; these carry the hormones quickly to their targets.
