Genotype means all genes in the organism. While phenotype is the expression of all genes.

I shall explain the thing in a different manner.
Everybody knows how to prepare tea. The ingredients of tea are tea leaves, hot water, milk and sugar. The ingredients are the genes.

If you prepare tea like doing chemistry experiment, have fifty ml of hot water in a mug, add half a spoon of tea leaves, pour thirty ml of hot milk, add a sugar cube and stir the mixture for a minute.

If fifty people prepare the tea with same ingredients and same method, the taste of final product varies. The variation in the taste of tea is the expression that is phenotype.
