Explanation:
The definition of anaerobic is, living or being active in the absence of free oxygen. It is the opposite of aerobic.
For example, in anaerobic exercise oxygen is not used. As a result lactic acid and only little energy(heat) are produced, because of incomplete break down of glucose. This exercise is short-lasting because, our body cannot function for long period of time without oxygen.
