To start, we want to get rid of the fractions to make it easier to work with.
So we can multiply the equation by 4 on each side.

$5 (\frac{3 x + 6}{4}) = 5 (\frac{2 x - 3}{5})$ $5((3x+6)/4)=5((2x-3)/5)$

$\frac{5 (3 x + 6)}{4} = 2 x - 3$ $(5(3x+6))/4=2x-3$

Now multiply by 4.

$4 (\frac{5 (3 x + 6)}{4}) = 4 (2 x - 3)$ $4((5(3x+6))/4)=4(2x-3)$
