There are several ways to do this problem. Here is one way:

x-intercepts are where $y=0$ and y-intercepts are where $x=0$

Thus if we plug in those values for $y$ and $x$ respectively into the equation we can find our intercepts.

First let $y=0$ :

$0=5x-10$

$10=5x$

$2=x$

So our x-intercept is $(2,0)$

Then let $x=0$ :

$y=5(0)-10$

$y=0-10$

$y=-10$

So our y-intercept is $(0, -10)$
