I am going to solve it by using addition method.

1) −2x+7y=13 |×2−2x+7y=13∣×2
and

and
4x-6y=24x−6y=2

3) now I am going to sum these equations
-4x+14y=26−4x+14y=26
4x-6y=24x−6y=2
8y=288y=28

4) 8y=\frac {28}{8}8y=288
y=3.5y=3.5

5) 4x−6y=24x−6y=2
4x−6×3.5=24x−6×3.5=2
4x=2+214x=2+21
4x=\frac{23}{4}4x=234
