Which soil would you expect to be better developed: the soil on in a hillside or the soil on a valley floor?

One would expect for soil to developed better on a valley floor.

Explanation:

It would be better developed on a valley floor because when it rains, the rain brings down the nutrients needed for fertile soil and it soaks int the soil, but on a hillside, the rain slides down into the valley floor giving it more nutrients which is another reason why it is easier developed.
Hope this helps :)
