How does energy conservation help the environment?

Stops pollution
Explanation:
Because it saves more energy having to be made again which causes pollution.
Conservation means that it is kept, as I’m sure you’re aware, and think of this in real life, if you have something, say a new phone, you won’t buy a new one until the one you have is broken or lost.
This is like energy, no more needs to be made if there is no point.
The higher the energy needs, the more energy providers need to be created.
Explanation:
As the whole human population and developing countries grow, more people will want energy. While the whole world is still trying to use renewable energy, it still constitutes a fraction of how energy is produced. In fact, China still only uses solar energy to provide less than 1% of the energy needs to its population. So as more energy is needed, countries often resort to using energy producers that are easy to make but are bad for the environment. By conserving energy, less energy producers need to be created to match needs.
