Daniel Shays led a rebellion in the late 1780s in Massachusetts.
There was also the War of 1812 against Great Britain (yes, again), the Mexican-American war (for Texas), the American civil war (Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, Confederacy, etc.), the Spanish-American war, the World Wars, the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, the Gulf war, the war in Afghanistan, and now the war against ISIS.

Before the United States was an official country, there was Bacon's rebellion (led by and named after Nathaniel Bacon), Cary's rebellion, the Paxton boys uprising, and others. The colonies grew more and more discontent with British rule (hence, the Boston tea party, the Boston massacre, and the Intolerable Acts). The American revolution later broke out.
