Explanation:

#-4x-7=7x-3#

Add four x to each sides of the equation so the 4x can cancel eachother out on the right side of the equation, but on the left you have to add 4x also, I am going to add 4x to 7x which is a simple answer =11x
So now it should look like this...
#-7=11x-3#
Now just add three to both sides so the -3 can cancel out with the +3, and on the left #-7+3=-4#
So now you should have...
#-4=11x#
Divide both sided by 11,
#-4/11=x#
