The workers and proletariats.

Explanation:

Karl Marx is best known for his political philosophies and theories, documented in The Communist Manifesto; these ideas would later become to be known as Marxism. Marx believed in a class struggle in society, the struggle being between the rich and the workers. He believed that capitalism would inevitably result in a revolution led by the proletariat (working) class, who would rise up against the bourgeoisie (the rich business owners who dominated capitalistic societies) and replace capitalism with a new economic theory known as socialism.

He believed in a society ran by and for the working class, ensuring that nobody could exploit them for profit and that they could all have a chance at economic security and prosperity through collaboration and co-existence.

Naturally, the workers and proletariat class was most fond of this idea, since it clearly benefited them the most. Because of that, those are the people who would have supported his beliefs (and they did, eventually culminating into events such as the Russian Revolution).
