We went to the park after we finished our homework.
OR
subject+verb+adjective ---preposition---adjective
The dog dug a whole underneath the swing.
OR
subject+verb+adjective ---preposition---verb/adjective
The boy found the goggles before swimming.
Prepositions can also be used in a question:

You can also have two prepositions in one sentence:
Instead of studying for the test, the students hiked up the trail.
Before making smores, Jake likes to melt the chocolate on the cracker.
