Explanation:

Archaea : oldest form of prokaryotes (single-celled organisms without a nucleus). Ancient bacteria; often live in extreme conditions.
Bacteria : all other forms of bacteria (i.e that are not under Archaea)
Eukarya : all eukaryotes (cells have a nucleus. could still be unicellular, though)

Humans, Animals and Plants are all under Eukarya.
A typical person won't ever encounter Archaea in their life, because they live in extreme environments.

The broadest classification of life used to be kingdoms. Domains were created in 1990.
