Hypothalamus produces releasing hormones, which regulate other hormones and highly participate in the function of the pituitary gland and Pituitary gland is the master gland that regulates other endocrine glands thereby maintains homeostasis.

Explanation:

Hypothalamus receives signals from the nervous system and secretes neurohormones that regulate the pituitary gland secretions. The pituitary gland controls other endocrine glands of the body.
Secretory hormones from endocrine glands are modulated by feedback mechanisms.Hormonal regulation via feedback mechanisms helps body homeostasis. Such as, low level of estrogen stimulates secretion of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH).This, in turn, stimulates secretion of estrogen. Thus it is a positive feedback which increase the level of estrogen and FSH in blood. This again followed by negative feedback and high concentration of estrogen inhibits FSH production.
