$y = - \frac{2}{3} x + \frac{7}{3}$ $y = -2/3x + 7/3$

As slope is $- \frac{2}{3}$ $-2/3$ the equation reads like this:

$y = - \frac{2}{3} x + d$ $y=-2/3x +d$

So we must find $d$ $d$ . For this we use the point (2,1), which means, that for $x = 2$ $x=2$ the value of $y = 1$ $y=1$ .

We fill it into the equation:

$1 = - \frac{2}{3} \cdot 2 + d$ $1=-2/3*2 +d$

$1 = - \frac{4}{3} + d$ $1=-4/3 +d$

we add $\frac{4}{3}$ $4/3$ on both sides of the equation:

$1 + \frac{4}{3} = d$ $1+4/3=d$
