Rh acts as antigen
Explanation:
Rh factor is type of antigen present on RBCs in blood . There are 2 different types of antigens, i.e. antigen A and antigen B.
Depending upon the antigen , the blood groups are A, B , AB and O. If the blood of different blood group is transfused, the plasma will produce antibodies to the antigen present on that blood group, causing the reaction.
The type of antigen present on RBCs is determined by the genes .
