$y = \frac{1}{{cos}^{- 1} (x)}$ $y=1/cos^-1(x)$

Explanation:

$y = {sec}^{- 1} (x)$ $y=sec^-1(x)$

$y = \frac{1}{{cos}^{- 1} (x)} = {cos}^{- 1} (\frac{1}{x})$ $y=1/cos^-1(x)=cos^-1(1/x)$

$\frac{1}{{cos}^{- 1} (x)} \neq cos x$ $1/cos^-1(x)!=cosx$

${cos}^{- 1} x$ $cos^-1x$ is the arccosine of $x$ $x$ it is NOT the same as the inverse of the $cos x$ $cosx$ .
