It is the building block of life, which consists of cytoplasm enclosed within a membrane. The cell's cytoplasm contains the numerous functional and structural elements i.e. the different organelles as well as biomolecules such as proteins and nucleic acids.
There are two types of cells -

Eukaryotic (containing nucleus)
