x=55/6 and y=-9/2

Explanation:

so ya wanna isolate y from y+2y=-2

subtract 7 from both sides and ya get 2y=-9

then ya wanna divide both sides by 2 getting ya y=(-9)/2
and that gets ya y=(-9)/2 :P

SOOOOO now we subsitube y into the other equation 3x+5y=5
getting ya 3x+5((-9)/2)=5 so lets simplify and get us a drum roll 3x-5*9/2=5 then 3x-45/2=5

so now that we finished subsituting and simplifying we can now find le x

first add 45/2 on both sides getting ya a jolly 3x=55/2

then let us divide both sides getting us x=(55/2)/3

and just when ya think ya think thats it..... you are almost correct we need to DESTROY BUILD .... but then not destroy cause that not needed ... that fraction which gives us the dank x=55/6
