Light being absorbed by black holes.
Explanation:
Black holes are light vaccums, and thus light gets stuck and absorbed by them. The light you see around black holes is light trying to escape the powerful inhalation of the black hole. The best it can do is stay out of the black hole, but it can't completely escape.
Think of an ice cube that is infinitely cold and never got warmer. If you put your finger near the ice cube, you'd feel the air is extremely hot because all the heat in the room is being diffused to that one ice cube. The same is true for black holes and light.
