$(-3x(6x+6)+x(2x+2))/((2x+2)(6x+6))$

$(-18x^2-16x)/((2x+2)(6x+6))$

$(-8x(2x+2))/((2x+2)(6x+6))$

$(-8x)/(6x+6)=(x-1)/(x+1)$

$-8x(x+1)=(6x+6)(x-1)$

$-8x^2-8x=6x^2-6$

$0=14x^2+8x-6$
