Using quadratic formula to find roots of given quadratic equation: 2b^2-20b-5=02b2−20b−5=0 as follows

b=\frac{-(-20)\pm\sqrt{(-20)^2-4(2)(-5)}}{2(2)}b=−(−20)±√(−20)2−4(2)(−5)2(2)
=\frac{20\pm2\sqrt{110}}{4}=20±2√1104
=\frac{10\pm\sqrt{110}}{2}=10±√1102
