Gymn B total cost $y = 164 + 17.95 x$ $y=164+17.95x$

in both cases x means number of months

We are going to solve the system of equations

$75 + 35.75 x = 164 + 17.95 x$ $75+35.75x=164+17.95x$

$35.75 x - 17.95 x = 164 - 75$ $35.75x-17.95x=164-75$

$x (17.8) = 89$ $x(17.8)=89$

$x = \frac{89}{17.8} = 5$ $x=89/17.8=5$

In five months the cost of both Gym's will be equal and Gym B will be cheaper than A
