Car has moved 60m.

Explanation:

If initial velocity is u and final velocity v (at a uniform acceleration) in time t,

then acceleration a is given by v=u+at i.e. a=vut

and distance is given by v2u2=2aS

Here u=10ms, v=20ms and t=4s

which gives us a=20104=104=52ms2

Hence 2×52×S=202102

or 5S=400100=300

i.e. S=3005=60m

Additional information Another important relation is S=ut+12at2 and here S=10×4+12×52×42

= 40+20=60m
