A 100g object is falling freely under gravity in absence of friction what will be the net force on it after 2 seconds?

I would say (because of the absence of friction):

F=mgF=mg

representing the Weight WW of the object:

F=W=0.1*9.8=0.98NF=W=0.19.8=0.98N

The only possible difference could be a different value of gg due to the height BUT in the problem it is not possible (I think) to detect this.
