Put everything to one side:
$\to 5 d^{2} - d^{2} - 3 d = 0 \to 4 d^{2} - 3 d = 0$ $->5d^2-d^2-3d=0->4d^2-3d=0$

This can be factorized:
$\to d (4 d - 3) = 0$ $->d(4d-3)=0$
