Question #98a1e

1 Answer

The ideal gas law is the equation of state of a hypothetical ideal gas! It is a good approximation to the behaviour of many gases under many conditions, although it has several limitations.

The ideal gas law is often introduced in its common form:

PV=nRT

where P is the absolute pressure of the gas (Pa), V is the volume of the gas (m3), n is the amount of substance of gas (mol), R is the ideal gas constant (8.314 J/Kmol), and T is the absolute temperature of the gas.
