We're planning to launch new subjects soon, and we're working to give the ability to launch new subjects to the community!

If you haven't checked out this page where you can vote on the next subject we launch, please do! We look at these votes when we decide what subject to launch next. We want to build subjects where there is organic demand in our community.
We're still learning so much about what it takes to establish healthy communities in each subject on Socratic, and it's been a big focus of the last few months. We've made great progress bringing each of our existing subjects to good health, monitoring metrics like answers/questions ratio, answers per week, and tracking the presence of top contributors.
In the longer term, we're planning to shift launching new subjects into the hands of the community – part of a general shift in responsibilities to the hands of our best members!
