Many chemical compounds are present in egg shell. As such it can not be represented as a simple chemical formula.

Explanation:

The ingredient chemicals in eggshells are:

  1. Calcium Carbonate. The shell is about 95% "CaCO"_3.
  2. Calcium Phosphate. "Ca"_3("PO"_4)_2
  3. Magnesium Carbonate. "MgCO"_3
    The constituents 2 and 3 make the remaining 5%.
  4. Some soluble and insoluble proteins are also present in traces.

Crushing of an egg shell will not change its chemical composition.
