$(f + g) (- 2) = - 24$ $(f+g)(-2)= -24$

$f (- 2) = \times (- 2) - 9 = - 13$ $f(-2)=xx(-2)-9=-13$

$g (- 2) = 4 \times (- 2) - 3 = - 11$ $g(-2)=4xx(-2)-3=-11$
