(1) : f(g(x))=-40x+31(1):f(g(x))=−40x+31.

(2) : f(g(x)0=-9x+25(2):f(g(x)0=−9x+25.

Explanation:

f(x)=-4x+7f(x)=−4x+7, and, g(x)=10x-6=y,g(x)=10x−6=y,say.

Then, f(g(x))=f(y)=-4y+7............[defn. of f]

=-4(10x-6)+7=-40x+24+7=-40x+31#.

Thus, f(g(x))=-40x+31.

Similarly, in the second case, f(g(x))=-9x+25.
