In the above discussion it has been proved that the maximum buoyancy or upthrust experienced by a body immersed in a fluid is the weight of the fluid displaced by it when it is completely immersed.

The above relation shows that

(1) the maximum Buoyancy of a body is directly proportional to its weight if rho/d, the density ratio remains constant.

(2) Again the maximum Buoyancy of a body is inversely proportional to its density when weight of the body and density of the fluid remain constant
