Ah, this is a tricky topic.
Explanation:
I know that posting questions and not getting answers can be very frustrating, but you have to keep in mind that the community has a limited number of contributors.
In that regard, the number of questions asked will pretty much always exceed the number of questions answered.
People are contributing on Socratic in their spare time, so right from the start we know that each individual contributor will only be able to tackle a small number of questions.
Moreover, the difficulty / level of the question matters as well. Simple, lower-level questions have better chances of getting answered because more contributors can handle them.
As the difficulty of the question increases, the number of contributors that can answer a particular question decreases.
You can try to request an answer to your own question. This will bump the question back to the top of the subject page.
However, this can only be done once, so use it wisely.
I strongly recommend against posting the same question multiple times. This may look like a tempting option, but that only stretches the site's contributor resources even more.
Long story short, you can't really control whether or not your questions get answered. Socratic is a free website, which means that the number of questions that get answered depends exclusively on its community.
