consider an alcohol CH3CH2OH
and acetylene is HCCH

their conjugate bases are CH3CH2O and HCC.

since negative charge is more stable on O than C (electronegativity), so CH3CH2O is LESS BASIC than HCC .{because more stable base are weak in nature}

thus the CONJUGATE ACID of CH3CH2O is MORE ACIDIC than that of HCC
i.e.,
CH3CH2OH is more acidic than HCCH
