A tank used for compressed gas contains 9750mol oxygen gas, in a volume of 9750L, at a temperature of 34.9 C...?

Well, first we use standard units and get, P=149.4atm, and then convert this into psi.

Explanation:

P=nRTV=9750mol×0.0821LatmKmol×308K1650L

=149.4atm

And then we convert this to psi; 1atm14.6psi.

And so P=149.4atm×14.6psiatm1 =

Approx........2000 psi. Note that this is on the VERY high end for oxygen tanks for medical use. Why would you NOT such a tank for scuba diving?
