Amygdala modulate all of our reactions to events that are very important for our survival.
Explanation:
Shown to play a key role in the processing of emotions, the amygdala forms part of the limbic system. It is responsible for the perception of emotions such as anger, fear, and sadness, as well as the controlling of aggression.
The amygdala is involved in several functions of the body systems:
1) arousal
2) autonomic responses associated with fear
3) emotional learning and response
4) hormonal secretions
5) memory
